How to Add Bookmarks

The bookmark is a direct link to a certain folder on the local computer or on the remote FTP Server. Bookmarks help you access the most-used folders with a single mouse click. For example: you can add a bookmark to your web server /pub/public_html folder and name it Web Pages. Once created, this bookmark appears in the Bookmark menu, and you can connect to the web server and change to the /pub/public_html folder by simply selecting the Web Pages bookmark in the Bookmark menu.

Bookmarks are also available in the Favorite Directories drop-down list. You can open this list by clicking the local or remote folder name.

Add a Local Bookmark

1.	Change to the local folder that you want to bookmark

2.	Select Add Bookmark from the Bookmark menu

3.	Select the Bookmark current local folder option

4.	Enter a name for the bookmark (or just accept the default name)

5.	Click the OK button

This new local bookmark is now available in the Bookmark menu for later use. All bookmarks are saved automatically.
Add a Remote Bookmark

1.	To add a bookmark, connect to the FTP Server and change to the folder you want to bookmark

2.	Select Add Bookmark from the Bookmark menu

3.	Select the Bookmark current remote folder option

4.	Enter a name for the bookmark (or just accept the default name)

5.	Click the OK button

This new remote bookmark is now available in the Bookmark menu for later use. All bookmarks are saved automatically.


Edit Bookmark

To change a bookmark name (=name that appears in the Bookmark menu):

1.	Select Edit Bookmarks... from the Bookmark menu

2.	Select the bookmark name in the list you want to edit

3.	Click the Edit button

4.	The Edit Bookmark window opens and you can now edit the bookmark name

5.	Click the OK button to save changes. The new name appears in the Bookmark menu.

NOTICE! You cannot edit the remote folder name that bookmark leads to, so if you have created a bookmark to the wrong folder, simply delete the bookmark and create a new one in the correct folder.

Delete Bookmark

To remove bookmark from the menu:

1.	Select Edit Bookmarks... from the Bookmark menu

2.	Select the bookmark name in the list you want to delete

3.	Click the Delete button

4.	When you see a Confirmation message, select Yes to continue with the deletion

The bookmark is now deleted from the menu.
