Connect to an FTP Site with Site Manager
Previous  Top  Next

The Site Manager is a storage location for FTP Server information, where you enter the server login parameters once, for later reuse. For example: If you have a web server at a web hosting company and you need to upload some files to it, the web hosting company will give you three essential pieces of information:

1.Host address: ftp.server.com
2.Username: joe_smith
3.Password: xyz123abc

You need this information to make a connection the server and to upload files. NOTE: You cannot make a connection using this sample data; you will need to get your own connection parameters from the web hosting company.
