You can log your connection and file transfer actions into the two different log files:

·Session Log - This log file contents are the same as what can be seen in the log pane.  
·Transfer Log - This log contains the list of all transferred files and also file transfer errors. This is convenient for tracking web site changes or keeping a record of scheduled transfers.  


Session Logs

Display time stamp in session logs
When selected, the date and time are shown next to each log entry in the log window and log pane. The log file contains the date and time stamp, regardless of this option.

Include Info messages in session logs
When selected, informational messages like Transfer complete, Average transfer speed, etc., are shown/written to the log

Include Client commands in session logs
When selected, commands that Client sends to the server, like TYPE A, LIST, etc., are shown/written to the log

Include Server response in session logs
When selected, server responses to Client commands like Access denied, Directory created, etc., are shown/written to the log

Write session logs to file
When selected, the log is written to a file in addition to being displayed on the log window. You can select how often the new log file is started:

Every Day

·A new session log file is started every day, and all actions within that day are written to the same log file.  
·Files are named like this:  
·SessionLog 16 July 2008.log  
·SessionLog 17 July 2008.log  
·SessionLog 18 July 2008.log  
 
Every Week

·A new session log file is started every week, and all actions within that week are written to the same log file.  
·Files are named like this:  
·SessionLog for Week 25 2008.log  
·SessionLog for Week 26 2008.log  
·SessionLog for Week 27 2008.log  

Every Month

·A new session log file is started every month and all actions within that month are written to the same log file.  
·Files are named like this:  
·SessionLog for Month Jul 2008.log  
·SessionLog for Month Aug 2008.log  
·SessionLog for Month Sep 2008.log  
 

Transfer Logs

Write transfer logs to file
When selected, the log is written to a file in addition to being displayed in the log window. You can select how often a new log file is started. The files are named with the same logic as above, with the TransferLog prefix.


Log File Folder

Save log files to folder
By default, all log files are written to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\3D-FTP\Logs folder. You can select another folder by clicking the ... browse button.
