The fastest way to connect to an FTP site in 3D-FTP is to right click with your mouse on top of the empty remote file pane. You will see the list of the 10 most-recently used sites, and you can make the connection by simply selecting the site name from the pop-up-menu.
You can access the same list when you click down arrow next to Connect toolbar button.
