How to Show Total Folder Size

You can display the total size for all files in either local or remote folder:

1.	Right click the local or remote file list to display the pop-up menu

2.	Select the Show Total Size command

3.	The total size for all files in the current folder is shown in the window. This size includes only files in the current folder, not files in subdirectories below the current folder.

Click the Start button to show the total size for all files in the current folder PLUS all files in sub-folders. 3D-FTP traverses through all directories under the current folder and builds a tree view of the directories and displays the total size for each folder next to the folder name.

When the size calculation is finished, the total size is displayed, and the two largest directories are flagged with red and blue folder icons.

Calculating the total size will take a while, but you can interrupt this calculation any time by clicking the Stop button.
